We created our Times Higher Education Awards to recognise the outstanding work taking place at universities that rankings, and the data behind them, could not adequately capture.

The Arab World is a distinctive collection of countries and territories exhibiting real quality and diversity across its higher education landscape. In the THE Awards Arab World's third year honouring the work of universities across the region, we hope to unearth yet more stories of excellence and innovation by the individuals and teams who help to drive the region’s relentless progress.

It is our privilege to showcase and promote their inspirational work across the Arab World and beyond.

These awards are inclusive by design, so underpinning everything is a belief that ground-breaking and inspirational work can take place anywhere, whatever the shape or size of the institution. So, wherever in the region you are based and whatever challenges you may face, we want to hear about your proudest recent achievements.

This year’s winners will be announced on 25 November 2025 during a gala dinner at the THE Arab Universities Summit in Jordan.
